Hygienic Art: One of New London's premier community development projects and fine arts venues. Hygienic Art coordinates and hosts a variety of arts and musical events throughout the year, including the famous (and infamous) annual art exhibition for which the organization was named.


Friday Night Folk: Friday Night Folk concerts began at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Congregation in New London in 1989, bringing traditional and contemporary folk music and musicians to Southeastern Connecticut. Through the years, folk music fans from all over New England have enjoyed the music of Utah Philips, Cheryl Wheeler, Bill Staines, Bill Morrissey, Vance Gilbert, Aztec Two-Step, John Gorka, Patty Larkin, Geoff Kaufman, Voco, and Work o’ the Weavers. After a 10-year hiatus, Friday Night Folk is back at All Souls’ new building on 19 Jay Street, which can hold 250 listeners. More to come!
